My next German is ready. Really love those Heer46 minis. Very much to the dislike of my wife who’d rather see me continue working on the pirate bust from the workshop with Fernando Ruiz. Oh well, so many miniatures, so little time to paint them. Here are a few more pictures from various WIP stages:

Painting Workshop Review – Pirates, Ham & BBQ with Fernando Ruiz

Last weekend I had the pleasure of attending my second painting workshop with Fernando Ruiz. Fernando is not only a fantastic painter, but he runs his own miniature company FeR Miniatures which produces some of the coolest busts and miniatures that I have seen on the market. If you have not seen his range yet, […]
Angry-looking dude from Heer46 & Nocturna Models

So, I have prepared two new projects to work on. First, this angry little dude from Heer46 just hit my workbench: And second, a 70mm miniature from Nocturna Models: Luna’s Soldier. I’ll just call her Luna and she is going to be my next shot at a showcase level paintjob. Her arm that is holding […]
Zombicide Survivors – Group Shot

Time for the group shots that I promised: I am pretty happy with how they turned out. Next step: Organize a “Steak ‘n Zombicide” evening with a few friends. 🙂
Zombicide – Doug joins and completes my set of survivors

Right. Done with Zombicide. At least for now. I have to say it’s been about time as I started to run out of steam on the last survivor that I needed to do to have them all complete. I don’t know if it was the heatwave that hit Germany over the past two weeks, but […]
Zombicide Officer Phil

Officer Phil is finally done. Hope you like him. No special effects like Amy’s pantyhose pattern on this one here. The black trousers were a good exercise though as black & white are always a bit more challenging to get right. The next survivor that I started painting yesterday also wears black trousers AND a […]
Zombicide Amy

Work and travel has kept me from painting, but as I was doing painting demonstrations at the Dice & Bayonets wargaming convention in Speyer, Germany, I still managed to finish up the next survivor miniature for Zombicide. Two more survivors to go and I’ll have the first set from Zombicide Season 1 all painted up […]
Bolt Action – More goodness from Heer46

And another Heer46 German that joins the ranks of my small unit of painted man. 🙂 Again, the sculpt was fun to work with – not much preparation needed as there were pretty much no mold lines visible. After my recent Germans all had some camo wear, I decided to go for a more plain […]
Bolt Action – New Germans incoming

Heer46 is about to start their Indiegogo campaign “German Army at Kharkov – The Last Victory in the East” and I was one of the lucky few who already got their hands on some of the miniatures (Thanks Denis!). The sculpts are really very nice for 28mm Wargaming miniatures and also in terms of quality […]
Zombicide again – Ned exits the workbench and enters the stage

More Zombicide incoming with Ned, the crazy guy who carries a cooking pan on his belt.
