Heer46 is about to start their Indiegogo campaign “German Army at Kharkov – The Last Victory in the East” and I was one of the lucky few who already got their hands on some of the miniatures (Thanks Denis!).
The sculpts are really very nice for 28mm Wargaming miniatures and also in terms of quality of the cast I was more than impressed. There was basically no flash or mold lines on those (white metal) miniatues.
The first miniature that I painted is a German officer in a spring/summer pea dot camo jacket. Simple, yet very nice pose with the MP40:
The second guy is a regular infantry soldier in a coat where I did my first attempt on an autumn “Palmenmuster” camo.
There is another one on my workbench right now, so stay tuned.
Very well done! Great advertising for the coming campaign. Really looking forward to this one.
Thanks! Yes, I am equally excited about the upcoming campaign. We really need more high-quality 28mm WW2 miniatures. Most available offerings on the market right now are just not as detailed and crisp as I'd like them to be. 🙂
Brilliant work! How do they compare size wise with warlord figures etc?
I think they work well alongside with Warlord or Artizan miniatures. Take a look here: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-FvP-bgAYUDo/VU-u5Mu7J5I/AAAAAAAAEOU/m32aHdRx4_U/s1600/IMG_7033_final.JPG
Ah cool thanks for that. You've sold me on the kickstarter before its begun
Another great article! Keep up the good work !
